Rope Rescue Operations is a 40-hour class designed to address the basic skills and knowledge to perform as a supervised member of a rope rescue team.
Topics covered include:
- Ropes, hardware, knots, anchor systems, belaying, mechanical advantage systems, raising and lowering using rope systems, low angle rescue and patient packaging.
Use of actual vertical training scenarios makes this a real-life course. This is an OSFM certified class. At the completion of this OSFM certified class students will be eligible to challenge the state test.
